Most of us understand this to be a day of remembrance for all of this that have fallen in service to our great country. But really it is more than just a memory of loss, it should be a memory that causes us to give thanks in the great Savior, and only true God the Lord Jesus Christ! It should bring a revival in our hearts to thank God for the blessings that He has poured out on all who live in the greatest nation in the world.
Rarely is anything born that is of great significance without great cost or sacrifice! So many men and women who have lived selfless lives so that those that they would never meet or receive accolades from, could live a better life. Jesus Christ is the greatest to have ever lived and His whole life was about sacrifice to save the lost.
May you this memorial day give thanks to God first and to the men and women in uniform for their sacrifice to make our country and our lives better!
Let me be the first to say thank you to my grandfathers Joe and Bill (WW2), my father and uncle Bill (Vietnam), my uncle Bob a career in the Navy Master Sargent, and to my brother a Marine! As well as to the many other family members who have served in every war ever fought in this country! Thank you! Thank you!
Have a blessed memorial day!
